Projects & environments

A project groups the services that make up one app or product. Each project has one or more environments (for example production and staging) that hold their own copies of the services and their config.

sh
yomia init shop # create the project (with a production env), link this folder
yomia link shop --env staging # link this folder to an existing project/env
yomia status # show what the current folder is linked to

Once a folder is linked, commands run against that project and environment unless you override them.

Services

Every app you deploy is a service in the linked project:

sh
yomia deploy web # build & deploy a service
yomia apps # list services and status
yomia apps show web # details for one service
yomia graph # services and the references between them
yomia apps delete web # remove a service

Environments

sh
yomia environment new staging # create an empty environment
yomia environment use staging # switch the active environment
yomia apps -e production # target a specific environment for one command

--project and --env override the linked defaults on any command.
