Domains

Each app can have a Yomia subdomain, a custom domain of your own, or both. TLS certificates are provisioned automatically with Let's Encrypt.

Public subdomain

Give a service a public URL (and take it away):

sh
yomia domain public web # assign a public subdomain
yomia domain private web # make it private again

Apps are served at https://<app>-<workspace>.<your-apps-domain>.

Custom domain

Attach your own domain. Yomia prints the DNS records to create:

sh
yomia domain add web shop.example.com

Add the records it shows at your DNS provider. Once they resolve, Yomia obtains a certificate and starts serving the domain.

Operator setup (wildcard certificates, production DNS) is documented in the repository at docs/domains.md.
