Install the CLI
The yomia CLI is how you deploy and manage apps. It's a single static binary for macOS and Linux.
Quick install
sh
bash <(curl -fsSL https://yomia.ke/install.sh)This downloads the latest release for your OS and architecture, verifies its checksum, and installs yomia to /usr/local/bin (or ~/.local/bin if that isn't writable).
Prefer to read before you run?
The installer is just a shell script — read it first at yomia.ke/install.sh, or pipe it through your pager:
sh
curl -fsSL https://yomia.ke/install.sh | lessOptions
The installer reads a couple of environment variables:
sh
# Install a specific version instead of the latest.
YOMIA_VERSION=v1.2.3 bash <(curl -fsSL https://yomia.ke/install.sh)
# Install somewhere else (no sudo needed).
YOMIA_INSTALL_DIR="$HOME/bin" bash <(curl -fsSL https://yomia.ke/install.sh)Manual download
Grab a prebuilt archive from the releases page, verify it, and move the binary onto your PATH:
sh
VERSION=v1.2.3
OS=$(uname -s | tr '[:upper:]' '[:lower:]') # linux or darwin
ARCH=$(uname -m); [ "$ARCH" = x86_64 ] && ARCH=amd64; [ "$ARCH" = aarch64 ] && ARCH=arm64
curl -fsSLO "https://github.com/yomia-org/deploy/releases/download/$VERSION/yomia_${VERSION#v}_${OS}_${ARCH}.tar.gz"
tar -xzf "yomia_${VERSION#v}_${OS}_${ARCH}.tar.gz" yomia
sudo mv yomia /usr/local/bin/From source
With Go 1.27 or newer:
sh
go install github.com/yomia-org/deploy/cmd/yomia@latestThe binary lands in $(go env GOPATH)/bin — make sure that's on your PATH.
Verify
sh
yomia --version
